About Anthony Cerretani
For over 20 years, I've been creating inspirational, adventurous, innovative brand and storytelling experiences on every platform I can get my hands on.
From content strategy and development to product naming to global branding to video direction, my goal is to create compelling, honest, storytelling experiences that inspire us all to go little further, explore a little more, and live better.
I'm a seasoned Content & Creative Studio Director, brand strategist, and editorial director. Most recently at eBay, I led the Marketing organization’s Global Content and Creative Studio. There, I managed an international team of writers, designers, videographers, content strategists, and producers to bring the eBay story to life through omnichannel creative executions and millions of communications throughout the world.
I've managed websites and creative teams, written, edited, and created messaging frameworks for major brands and publications, and redefined brands and the authentic moments they create. I’ve won awards for writing and digital experiences, developed ad campaigns for State Farm and Discover Card, presented at conferences on the art of digital storytelling, and named robots for Amazon.
Enough about all that. Now, some interesting facts:
I once kept $3000 worth of scotch in an office drawer for an assignment.
I went on a quest for illegal cheese in Sardinia.
I directed an adventure film about Machu Picchu.
I climbed the highest peak in Iceland—after oversleeping.
I once hung up on Eddie Vedder (accidentally--and he was really nice about it)
I named Amazon’s first home robot, Astro.
I backpacked shrimp up 12,000 feet to the highest peak in the lower 48.
I'm on a personal quest to find the world’s greatest french fry. (It currently resides in Pike Place Market).
I wrote a billion dollar company’s brand manifesto.
